Question: So I was reviewing your dental insurance plans. I am a signal dad and my son lives with me for most of the year. We are in TX and I would like to get a dental insurance plan for him. I really do not care about the monthly cost as long as it is a good dental insurance plan that will be able to take care of any future dental needs my son may have. It it helps to know he had really good teeth at this point in time. Can you tell me your best plan is.
Answer: What would be the best insurance plan would be based on your own dental care needs. Such as if you do not want any waiting periods you may wish to review our HMO or dental discount plan options. However with these options you do have to choose a dentist in the plan network of providers. If you are wanting to stay with or choose your own dentist then you may prefer a dental PPO plan that provides that option. Call our member service line at 310-534-3444 go over your needs and they will be able to help pick the “best” plan for you and your son.

Question: I am looking for dental insurance where I am not paying for my dental services in full to my dentist then having to wait to get my money back from the dental insurance company. Right now that is how my curent dental insurance works. I am willing to drop that plan although it does pay out well so that I am not having to foot the complete bill just to get my dental services done. What type of plan will let me do that?
Answer: A dental HMO insurance plan is the type of plan, you may want to review if you want to get dental insurance were you are not filing dental claim, and where you pay the amount shown for dental services within the plan.
Dental HMO are fee based plans, showing you your cost for all the different dental services covered under that plan. This type of plan lets you know what your cost for each service covered. You do not have to file claims because the dentist is charging you based on the fee schedule.

Really I see so many web sites stating “Affordable dental plans” And when I get there that is what they are dental plan not insurance. I do not want a dental discount plan. However is that the only thing that is affordable?
The dental insurance web sites I been to are anything else but afforable. Well at least to me. $40 or more a month for a signal person is not affordable. Is there really any low cost dental insurance plans? Living in Texas.
