Lumineers are a newer type of dental veneers, which can be used to conceal a wide range of cosmetic imperfections on the teeth. Consisting of thin shells that are bonded to the fronts of teeth, Lumineers are similar to conventional veneers in their basic function but are thinner and require less preparation. As a result, Lumineers can be removed later without causing problems.
