There are many people that have concerns about dental X-ray causing cancer. However, to put dental X-rays in perspective, did you know that if you are outside for an hour you have been exposed to more radiation then you would get from a full set of dental X-rays.  X-ray are an important tool for the dentist to discover minor issues he/she may miss otherwise.
