California dental care and buying the best dental plan.
California dental care and buying the best dental plan. I am 19 and more or less on my own now. I am working a full time job that only offer major medical benefits and I work a part time job that does not offer any benefits. I would like to get dental insurance for myself but now sure how to know I am buying the best dental plan for my needs. I have not see a dentist before that I can recall but I take really good care of my teeth and do not feel I need any major dental work. What dental plan should I be looking at?

What is the best dental plan depends on your own dental needs and what you may want in the plan. In California we have over 35 dental plans options for you to review.
If cost is a factor then you may want to review the dental discount plans or the dental HMO plans since they are the lower cost dental plan options.
However if you want to stay with a current dental office or have the free choice to pick any dentist then you want to review the plans that have that option such as the Dental PPO’s or Indemnity plans
There is more but the main thing is to read the plans terms and conditions know how it work and what if offers so you can choose the best plan for yourself.

Well I would say to get a dental HMO if you want dental insurance plan and you want it to be affordable. I have California Dental plan 595 and it is only $18.95 a month for a single member. I like the dentist that I picked within the plan and the plan paid for itself the first time I use it.
