What are some of the Advantages of having Dental Insurance: Right now I do not have dental insurance I have good teeth and really only see a dentist twice a year for cleaning and check ups.

So my question is if you have good teeth and you not having to have anything more then just X-rays and your twice a year cleanings what would be the advantages of buying dental insurance?

My mom is bugging me over the fact that I do not have dental insurance and I just do not see her point in getting any
