California Dental Insurance, Golden West dental 100/200 plans
I live in CA and been reviewing many plans on line. I been shopping on line for over four days and been seeing the Golden West dental plans 100 & 200. I would like to know what you think of these plan? Which one is the better one to get the 100 or 200 plan?
I do not mind choosing a dentist in the network since I do not currently have one anyway but how do I go about choosing the right one for me? I am not sure about the claims process the plan I use to have though an old job I always had to file claims and wait for my money back. Is Golden West dental like that too?

Both plans are good which one you choice will be based on your own dental needs. However if you do not need a crown, bridge, partial or denture right way go for the plan 200.
On the Golden West 200 there is a six month waiting period for the dental services I mention however the Golden West 200 has better coverage cost to you then the Golden West 100 which you can review when comparing the fee schedules that are listed for both plans.
There are no claims for you to file under either Golden West plans. That is one of the nice benefits of getting an HMO dental plan. Cost for dental services are laid out for you and you only need to pay the dentist the agree amount shown on the plan covered fee schedule.
