Need help getting affordable dental braces for a minor
My son who is 14 needs to have braces for some crooked and over crowed teeth issues. He take good care of his teeth and have had not cavities even when he was little. I do not have much since I am a single mom. But I would like to be able to have his teeth corrected. Can you offer suggestion on where I can get low cost braces for my son?

I suggest looking to get a dental HMO plan. Most dental HMO plans offer braces and since it is an HMO it would tell you your cost under the plan for braces. This would make it easier for you to budget.

A dental discount plan would also offer you saving on getting dental braces. By getting a dental plan you will save at least 20 percent. Then you just shop out Orthodontic dentist with in the plan and see which one would be the best.

Have you looked into any dental schools if you can not afford braces even with the lower cost of having dental insurance in place?
I took my daughter to a dental school. Well not for braces but dental school are way cheaper then anything else. Sometimes you have to wait to get in but if it is about cost going to a dental school may be with the hassle.
