Individual dental insurance for teeth whitening
I am looking to have my teeth whiten. I have slightly yellowish teeth and whitening toothpaste is not really helping me whiten them up. My dentist said they can do a whiten treatment there at the office that would really make my teeth look nice.
However after checking with my dental insurnace I was told they would not cover anything for teeth whitening treatements. Is there any dental insurance plan that I could get just to cover my whitening treatment? If not any advise on how to whiten my teeth?

Before having the dentist whiten you teeth and having that expense why not try whiten strips. Crest whiten strips worked well for me. It should be good for you if you only have slightly yellow teeth as you stated.

In my person experience I found that dental insurance companies do not cover for teeth whitening siting that it is either not necessary or that if fall into cosmetic treatment which is not covered.

The last reply is right in that many dental insurance companies do not cover for teeth whitening treatment. However dental discount plans do. I would suggest looking at a dental discount plan and get your discounted saving off of teeth whitening services.
